We have been playing Softball with Beehive Sports,
at Jordan Park for a few seasons now!
I have heard someone mention there are Peace Gardens at this park, but I have never ventured too far past the softball field until this week!
If you are in the Salt Lake area, (1060 S 900) it is worth a stop to wander through them! It is in full bloom from May to October, and totally free. It is open from 7am to 10pm, and dogs are welcome as long as you clean up after them.
The garden exhibits 26 different nations, including ๐จ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฐ ๐จ๐ณ ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ง๐ท ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ฎ๐น ๐ธ๐ช ๐ฌ๐ง ๐ณ๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ง ๐ฎ๐ณ ๐จ๐ฆ ๐บ๐ธ ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ ๐น๐ด ๐ซ๐ท ๐ป๐ณ ๐ฎ๐ช ๐ท๐บ ๐ฌ๐ท and more!
Give yourself plenty of time to walk through this little gem! There are many beautiful places to take pictures, and it is stunning at sunset!
Jordan park also has some nice paved trails that you could scooter or roller blade on.
There are a couple of playgrounds, and a nice big pavilion area. On a Tuesday night, you may even find people playing Bike polo! They have volleyball courts, horse shoe courts and a skate park as well.
Pack some bug spray!
There are a ton of mosquitoes, as this park runs right along the Jordan River.
Have you ventured through there yet!!? What is your favorite nation to stop and check out? ๐
