Both mama and babe have had so much GROWTH
Mama:
Bought our first house.
Got my dream job.
Growing emotionally and physically stronger.
Taking care of myself so much better.
New appreciation for my body.
Babe:
PHYSICAL Growth.
Personality.
Communication and vocabulary .
Curiosity, questions and wonder.
I thought I was ready to raise this baby girl, now I know that she is raising me.
Raising my love.
Raising my wonder.
Raising my listening.
Raising my play time.
Reminding me to slow down, and to appreciation the little things.
Changing the way I see the world.
For the first time I find myself singing confidently because she asks for more.
I too, am learning how big emotions work, and how to work with them.
I am recognizing when I am feeling too tired or too hungry, or when I need some extra TLC. 💗
I’m learning how to take care of myself, and show myself love the way I want her to mirror it in herself.
Holding myself to the same standard of: Not getting too much screen time, getting outside to play, taking a time out when needed.
Setting an example by making myself a healthy lunch too, washing my hands, drinking enough water.
Reading books. Coloring. Exploring. Learning. Growing.
She is my greatest teacher.
