My mother, grandmother and daughter are some of my most cherished people.
This blog was inspired by these three beautiful women, and the sunshine they bring.
Whenever I have a chance to get us all four in a picture I take it!
I pinned this darling image years ago, with hopes of doing it myself one day– and I finally finished it this past summer!
I did it both forward and backwards so I could update it as Remi grows.
Next time I will try photoshop and let you know how it goes. Remi has grown so much already, so come back soon for an updated post!
The Final Product:
How to make your own:
Find a colorful frame, and get four of them so you each get your own.
Next, snap a pic of your first generation.
I took both my grandma’s picture, and Remi’s picture solo; then printed it, framed it and moved up the line until we were all included. It took some time, so if you are planning on doing this for a gift, either Photoshop your images in the frame, or give yourself plenty of time to send each image to the printer.
Keep snapping pictures up the line in the same spot, at a similar time of day.
When I re-do it next, I will try and shoot at the same angle on a similar time of day. Using portrait mode, or a smaller aperture because I like the brick blur more than the harsh brick lines.
Here are the progression pictures:
Also, here are some great outtakes of Remi ♥
I would love to know if you have tried something like this before?? I always love new ways to capture and cherish the ones you love. Please share yours in the comments below:
