One of the best things to do at Disneyland is EAT! Everything seems to taste better when it is in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Some of my favorite Disney treats include: churro toffee, Dole Whip of course, ice cream at Salt and Straw, lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge as well as the not-so-little chicken sandwich at Pym’s Test Kitchen.
With the Disney app you can check out many different menus in the park to see what looks good, plus it is so easy to place a mobile order for pick up!
If I had to pick only 5 of my favorite things to eat while I was there, these would be it:
#1. Ronto-less Garden Wrap from Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge
This wrap came highly recommended by a dear friend, and it did not disappoint.
We tried both the the Ronto Wrap and the Ronto-less Garden Wrap– and the vegan one definitely takes the cake. We might have had this wrap for both dinner AND lunch because it was so damn good. 🙂
#2. The breakfast burrito from the Cappuccino Cart in DCA
We kept walking by people eating this yummy looking breakfast burrito on the pier, and finally stopped to ask somebody! The Cappuccino has these hot and ready to go, but only a certain amount each day. If you are lucky enough to score one of these babies–consider it your lucky day!
Found kiddie corner from The Little Mermaid’s Undersea Adventure, next to the walk way to Pixar Pier. Also good to note, they have a cold brew coffee as well as coffee with liqueur available here!
#3. Mickey-shaped Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square
For those of you who like it on the sweet side for breakfast– look no further than this classic Mickey shaped treat. Dusted with powdered sugar, and the seasonal pumpkin spice. Served hot and fresh with a dipping side of goodness. Their Mint Julep is quite refreshing, especially when enjoyed in the garden patio over looking the Haunted Mansion.
#4. PICKLE CORN DOG at the corn dog cart in Downtown Disney
Located only at the very last Blue Ribbon Corn Dog stand on the way to the Disneyland hotel. This is a panko crusted corn dog wrapped in a pickle and served with a side of peanut butter! This definitely peaked my curiosity. Takes about 10 minutes to cook, but have to try/share it at least once in your life!
#5. Speaking of pickles
You must try a pickle in Disneyland. Located at many snack stands throughout both parks! They are one of the best kosher dill pickles, and a great healthy snack option. I am more of a salty person myself, so I would rather this over a churro any day!
Next time, I have to try the savory cones from the Cozy Cone!!
Please tell me what is your favorite treat from Disneyland??
