JELLO CAKE

Let me share with you one of my most favorite family recipes: JELLO CAKE!

Any time anyone in our family has a birthday, this is the cake everyone chooses!

With cool whip and jello as frosting, how can you go wrong?!

This poke cake is very customizable, in-fact I have made this into cupcakes, put some Redbull in it, and have even covered it in strawberries. *drool*

Ingredients

  

• 1 box White cake mix Eggs and Oil per box recipe
• 1 (3 oz box) Jello I usually use strawberry or raspberry
• 1 (3.4 oz box) Vanilla Pudding Milk per box
• 1 cup Sprite (Mt. Dew or Redbull are good options too!)
• 1 container Cool Whip thawed

Instructions

 

• Bake cake or cupcakes as directed on box.
• Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
• Boil 1 cup Sprite, add jello and stir until completely dissolved.
• Poke holes in cake– You want a lot of deep holes!
• Pour Jello mixture over cupcakes.
• Mix pudding and set per pox instructions.
• Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, the longer the better.
• Frost with pudding mixed with cool whip. *DROOL*
• ENJOY!!
